Our Hobbies We all spend too much time working but our hobbies include computers, walking the beaches at The Sea Ranch, travel, reading, white water rafting, photography and genealogy. Nancy is currently compiling and organizing much of her family research. It should be "on the Net" soon. Walt writes a monthly article for CircuiTree magazine on business conditions in the printed circuit industry. Current and back issues can be found on the Internet. Walt's CircuiTree Articles In addition to his studies at Reed Ken enjoys being on the "bleeding edge" of computer technology! In the summer he has worked as a service engineer installing and upgrading commercial computer systems. Genealogy Software: Walt and Nancy were both longtime Quinsept "Family Roots" users. Unfortunately Quinsept went out of business in late 1997. Nancy is now using Broderbund's Family Tree Maker and Walt is switching to Wholly Genes' The Master Genealogist. While both these programs are excellent we may soon jointly settle on the same software. |
